LEGAL · STATUS
Service status.
A short pointer to the systems we watch, and where we will publish incidents when the public status page is live.
What we monitor.
The status page covers the parts of Afterward a family would notice if they were unavailable: the marketing site, the web application at app.afterward.care, the API, and email delivery for account and recipient messages.
Provider-level incidents may also affect Afterward. When that happens, the status page should say which surface is affected and what we know, without exposing customer information or internal incident notes.
Current status page.
The public status page is not linked yet in this environment. Before launch, production should set PUBLIC_STATUS_PAGE_URL to the provider-hosted status page.
When to write.
If the status page shows an active incident, follow that page for updates. If your question is about your own account, billing, export, or recipient setup, write to hello@afterward.care instead.
Status questions
Write to hello@afterward.care and a real person will reply. For general help with the product, write to hello@afterward.care instead.
