Yes. Cancel any time from Billing; Family access continues through the paid period. If this is your first Family charge, write within 30 days and we will refund the year. After that, ordinary cancellations are not prorated unless there is a duplicate or erroneous charge, a legally required refund, a no-fault account closure by Afterward, material Family feature degradation, or a support-approved exception.

Yes, at any time, on any plan. PDF and portable export are trust signals, not premium features. Normal export does not include sealed values by default; sealed instructions stay behind their separate reveal and print flow.

No. Structurally, we couldn’t even if we wanted to. Your binder is sealed on your device before it ever reaches us, so what we hold is opaque. There is no advertising business attached to Afterward, and there will not be one. The product is the product.

A quiet inactivity check runs in the background. If sixty days pass without you signing in, we email and text you. If another seven days pass without a response, the person you named can request access. You can override the check at any time from the app, or turn it off entirely.
